Glossary
"Member" - a person who has signed up to Our Time Bank and has created an account online which has been approved
"Account" - your "bank" of time credits and your user information
"Exchange" - making a trade with another member to give or receive services
"Ad" - a listing on the member page with an offer or a request
"Offer" - services you would like to offer to other members in exchange for time credits
"Request" - services you would like to receive from other members in exchange for time credits
How do I:
See what kind of offers and requests there are?
If you are a member, please log in. If you are not - for safety, this information is only available to members, not the general public. If you would like to know more about the different offers available, you can attend a potluck or one of our Repair Café events and we'll be happy to tell you more.
Look up member info?
Again, for the safety of all our members, this information is only available to members, not the general public. Please log in if you are a member and wish to message someone or obtain their contact info.
Find out more about OTB or time banks in general?
Please come to one of our monthly potlucks, listed on the Events Page. Everyone is welcome to attend and ask questions.
Know when the next Repair Café is?
Please view our Events Page. If the next Repair Café date has been set, then it will appear on this page. If you don't see anything, please subscribe to our monthly newsletter or keep checking back. We hold them 3-4 times a year depending on city venue and volunteer availability.
Know if I can bring my item to the Repair Café?
Please view our Repair Café Page. There are rough guidelines on what to expect. It will always vary on your item and volunteer availability.
